Here at Wildlife Focus we are constantly striving to find interesting and exciting material from the reserves of the World Land Trust’s partner organisations to inspire people to help us protect these amazing places. Following on from the success of the Buenaventura Virtual Tours on the site we have been working with our Brazilian partners Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Assu (REGUA) to create some virtual tours of their reserve, which protects an important part of the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest. The tours, created by Renato de O. Bisacchi, showcase a variety of the habitat types found at REGUA and give viewers a real taste of the spectacular area.

Professional photographer, biologist, webmaster and conservationist Gustavo Morejón has sent a collection of stunning images from the Buenaventura Reserve – home of the “Puro webcam”. The majority of the photos were taken on Gustavo’s last visit to the Reserve when he traveled down with fellow Ecuadorian technicians to relocate the antennae.

A new section has been added to the wildlife focus site featuring podcasts from the World Land Trust. The podcasts aim to help supports learn more about the trust and our work with local project partners

We have kicked things off with two podcasts – one focusing on the Webcam in the forest and the other on WLT’s Restoration Ecology work
